This week was Elder Mekenye's last week on mission. He has now gone to his home in Naivasha, Kenya. I am happy for him! Ha ha. So if you put the pieces together, I have a new companion. His name is Elder Wambete. He is also a Kenyan, he is a powerful dude. I am excited to work with him. Elder Boaz will also be with us for two weeks while he waits for his new companion. Kayole will rise!
We are teaching a powerful family of four. We started to teach the teenage kids Truphosa and Samson and the parents became interested. They will be getting baptized on July 5th, so it will be wonderful! (INSERT CHEESY QUOTE) AKA "Missionary: Someone who leaves their family for two years so others can be with their's for eternity." Cornelius is also being baptized on June 27th, so hopefully his wife will follow.
Things are cool out here. I need to get to the bush soon.
