This week was super powerful. I'll tell you one thing, you haven't lived until you have looked through an African's photo album from the 70's. I did it and it was awesome. Bell bottoms and mud huts, nothing beats that image! Also, Daniel was confirmed on Sunday so he is the newest member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Elder Stanley G. Ellis of the quorum of the seventy and the Africa South-East area presidency came for a mission tour this week. That guy is super consecrated, you can just tell he has devoted his life to Christ. He quoted C. S. Lewis as saying "God is easy to please, but hard to satisfy.: That was probably the highlight quote of the month of May for me. It is so true. When we do small things that are of good nature, it pleases Baba wa Mbinguni. However, He knows we are capable of so much more, so it does not satisfy Him. It is great to please Him with our acts of kindness and our righteous decision, but I think the only way to satisfy Him is when we are in the Celestial Kingdom making our own planets. I hope that'll do it. Another inspiring quote from Elder Ellis himself is "The foundation of faith is that God cannot lie" I enjoyed that conference and afterwards we had caramel corn so I was spiritually fed and physically fed.
