This week was pretty good. We did a lot of teaching, which was refreshing! The week is not over and I am excited to partake of the Sacrament tomorrow. Monday we worked in the office. Tuesday we met with Olivier and his family. They will be making the baptismal covenant on November 22nd. They are a super prepared family. They don't speak much English, so my Swahili has to be on top of it's game when we are teaching them. I enjoy it.
Wednesday we had a baptismal interview for a woman Maimura. She will be making the baptismal covenant tomorrow. She is powerful. She use to be a muslim a while back, but her daughter found the church and now she has decided to follow her daughter's example and more importantly, the Savior's example. Things are going well as far as proselyting.
Driving is super intense. I don't really like it. I thought I would but it is just super stressful. The roads are crazy and people just do whatever they want. So you can't really expect someone to do something like you can in the USA.
In December we will be driving one of the mission trucks. They are all manual transmission so that should be an interesting experience (ha ha)
We are working along with the President to prepare for the Mission Leader Conference, which will be on the 5th and 6th of November. we are looking forward to it. It should be super spiritual. OH, President is down in Mombasa tomorrow to form a NEW DISTRICT there. The work is going well in Kenya. In March they will be splitting the Nairobi Stake and soon Eldoret will be a stake. That is 3 stakes! "No unhallowed hand can stop the work from progressing"
